Seems like a good potential alternative, if there are less chargeback issues etc.. Hard to say never used it myself, however the only thing that sorta puts me off is how it seems a litle bit volatile at the minute

I even don't know on how to use bitcoin then how I will pay web hosting services with bitcoin :)
but anyway it is an extra payment method that web host providers should have, in the case their customers wanted to pay with bitcoin.

Personally i would accept bitcoin as long as the payment clears with 6 Confirmations or more you are fine to commit and proceed with the services.

Its perfect to use for an extra payment option for your customers but i do agree because its not governed take a bit of care and attention in case there is some risks involved with any transaction.

As someone that watches the currency market a lot can safely say no. The value of bitcoin tend to depreciate a lot especially against the USD. We will be focusing more on the traditional methods and wait for it to grow. And the fact that its starting to get a bad name in currency markets may soon see the end or the limitation of the use of bitcon.

We do already :) We've been using Bitpay and it works well for us, I believe it's he second most used payment method after paypal. If you are afraid of the fluctuations with Bitpay you can choose whether to get bitcoins or in conventional currency.

Been accepting Bitcoin for years. There is no reason not to accept it. We use Coinbase, and you have the option to instantly convert the payment to USD, in case you don't like Bitcoins or want to take the risk they will depreciate. They can even auto-deposit USD into your bank account daily. Minimal fees and no chargebacks...what is not to like!!!

Bitcoin scares me and as a result any transaction or deal involving it gives me a second thought. I think my skepticism balls down to the problem associated with finding a ready buyer willing to purchase the bitcoin at the current valuation. Making money ain't easy talk more of a scenario when one becomes tied to spending his/her own cash.

I am kicking myself not getting into Bitcoin in the early days, but there was also a reason for that. While I think Bitcoin has definitely stabilized a lot in the past year, there is security in the USD and I for one haven't been willing to bank my businesses and assets on Bitcoin up until this point. Couldn't tell you what the future holds however. Btw welcome to the forum. :)

Yes, mainly because of these advantages:

1. I manage my own finances, there's no third party involved.
2. I can fix my own transaction fees when accepting or sending payments. Wallets give you this option.
3. They're going to be the future of cryptocurrency.
4. They are easily accessible and can be sent to any person anywhere around the globe.

I will definitely accept Bitcoin for payments.Yes,Bitcoin is still not uprightly popular yet,And in some quarters people find it hard getting them for use largely due to it's volatility and because it's new.

It can serve as an alternative payment medium,I personally Love Bitcoin so its acceptance and also promoting it will come to me as a pleasure.

I'lI accept Bitcoin for payment, especially for two months to come, the value has passed the 4000 dollars threshold today, and I regret working on anything else the last month but Bitcoin.

We have a small number of clients who pay us using Bitcoin. As part of our efforts to keep clients happy we try to accept as many payment methods as possible.

I definitely will be willing to accept some form of payment in form of Bitcoin. This was posted a couple of years ago, but look at the price of bitcoin now it's at $5000. Analysts believe by next year it will go to $6000. What most people don't understand is that Bitcoin is a social currency. The more people use it, the more its value increases. Rumours abound that it will take over from gold as the currency people invest in when there is a recession.

There's a lot to consider before deciding to accept if Bitcoin is right for you. It can be attractive to use because there are zero credit card or bank transaction fees to accept it. But Bitcoins are code, and it can be hack by cybercriminals. I read from an article that you need to create an account with a Bitcoin merchant that can help you accept Bitcoins to convert it into U.S dollars or other currencies for a nominal fee.
