I didn't have any answers between E-mail Marketing and Social Media, which I should go with to increase online sales and traffic for my website. should I do both or finding other techniques to try?

Both are good at their place if you have clear strategy and you know how to execute this for your advantage.
if you are sending mail to irrelevant people for your service, then no one will come.

Social Media is better. Most people use the gmail all spam mail will put into the spam box automatically.

You can combine both for best results.

Ask your social media followers to join your list.
Ask your subscribers to participate/join your groups.

Each has it's own merits.
