Why people still use IE6 and IE7 ????

Is any body have any idea why peoples still using IE6 and IE7 ?

Hey,

This is probably because people are still using Windows XP, Vista and other outdated operating systems. IE is the default browser.

Many elderly people do not like change, are set in their ways and don't care if it takes a minute to load a webpage.

I agree with Inquestor about that. Personally I still use IE6 in any case for checking my web design. It's difficult to show website perfect on versions of IE, but I sure that you will get more profit if you design website layout standard for IEx versions.

I do not think anyone uses IE 6 nowadays. Winxp can still be updated to IE8 easily. Why would someone want to browse using an obsolete browser ?

Probably the people using old browsers are not into IT or they don't know other browsers exist.

Because many registered and standard companies are believing that internet explorer is only the official secure browser so they do not allow their employees to access other browsers.

Why people still use IE6 and IE7 ????
