I sure that you hear more about "Responsive web design", but what exactly is responsive website' then then I think, may be you didn't know.
More and more people are going mobile browsing thus It is important for your site on running all screens perfectly.
Responsive web design is a solution for modern web
A responsive website adjusts itself depending on the size of the window / screen on which it is viewed. On a larger screen will be certain parts of a website for example viewed side by side, they are put together under beautiful. On a smaller screen It can perfect example that the last new messages appear in a column, while coming down the page on an iPhone, among the more important content. On a laptop right of the screen Buttons for a smartphone such as greater signed so that easy 'clickable' with the finger, etc... So every visitor will see the website in a way that suits the easiest for him.
Previously, for mobile use sometimes made a separate website. This was duplication of effort, and often came only half of the information discussed in this mobile version. This was frustrating for the visitor. The info out there on it was, was actually already on the classical site, which was twice the info on the internet. This was in turn detrimental to the search because Google approves 'duplicate content' off. An additional problem for this approach was that the rise of the tablet computer (and any other device with new screen sizes) needed to be. Actually still a new version This is not how a responsive website works. A website for all devices.
Benefits of Responsive web design?
- Your website is a pleasure on any device by surfing
- Google does not punish down on duplicate content
- When a new device is on the market, your website will automatically adjust itself to, and you must provide a separate website.
How do you start a reponsive website
In order to create a responsive site is required than with a conventional Web site for a completely different method It starts with the design. With a website, you have a classic canvas with (more or less) fixed dimensions. You place the various elements on it and you can start developing.
The responsive website you can also start from a design. But you make the exercise how you can rearrange when your canvas is smaller or larger. Various elements of your design For this you also make all a test version of your page you are viewing in your browser. In smaller or larger the screen you can see which parts of the site may be placed better and you look at how you can adapt your design for this.
Instead of a sequence of design and development, it is now a trade-off design, development,... the layout looks good on it on any screen. That's obviously a lot more work, but after some practice you quickly how.
What do you think about Responsive websites and it's important for your websites ?
Any thoughts ?
