I am using 27 inches flat monitor but I think a curved monitor about 34 inches will be better for work or gaming. What do you think? should I use curved monitor or flat for work or gaming? which one is better?

There won't be much difference noticeable apart of increased size. However, with curved Monitor, if you have not used in past, you will find it more immersive , be it game or work. Ultimately, you will prefer curved Monitor over flat once you are used to it but again, change will not be dramatic, it will be subtle yet pleasing.

Curved monitor for large monitors and you will like it if used. For Curved monitor, I would suggest you should choose screen size from 34 or 49 inches.

I just upgraded from a 27 inch monitor to a 34 inch curved monitor. When you first use it, it looks kinda weird but you will get used to it over time. Oh and since 34 inch curved monitor is widescreen, you're gonna have some black spaces on your left and right when watching some videos. It won't go full screen for some videos.

The choice between a curved and a flat monitor ultimately comes down to personal preference and what you plan to use it for. Here are some factors to consider when making your decision:

For work:
  • Flat monitors are often preferred for work because they are good for tasks that involve reading, writing, and spreadsheets, as the screen has minimal distortion and is easy to look at for long periods.
  • Curved monitors can provide a more immersive viewing experience and can be better for tasks that involve video or photo editing, but may introduce some distortion that could make working with text and spreadsheets more challenging.
For gaming:
  • Curved monitors are popular for gaming because they provide a more immersive experience and a wider field of view, which can help to reduce eye strain and increase immersion.
  • Flat monitors can be more suitable for competitive gaming, as they provide a more accurate representation of the game environment and less distortion, making it easier to aim accurately.
Ultimately, both curved and flat monitors have their pros and cons, and the best choice for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences. A 27-inch flat monitor is a good size for general use, while a 34-inch curved monitor can provide a more immersive experience for gaming and multimedia.

Both curved and flat monitors have their perks. For a 34-inch display, a curved monitor might offer a more immersive experience for gaming and a wider field of view for work. However, personal preference plays a big role. Test both types to see which feels more comfortable and suits your needs better.
