It seems most companies which used to provide reseller hosted services now decided to stop doing that and remove reseller plans from their web sites. I managed to discover only small amount of companies: eyhost.biz, rockhoster.com offering that.
So that is better to use reseller account or use VPS?
If main goal is reselling ?
If you opt a VPS, you should bear all infrastructure cost including the control panel licensing fee etc.
- You should manage [this includes all installations, setup,maintenance,support and administration ] the VPS hosting environment.
- On other hand, If you purchase a managed VPS plan from your provider, then the provider will take care of the managing part. Here only you need to worry about the cost associated with the infrastructure you required.
In short, If you opt a reseller plan there will be no additional infrastructure cost, control panel licensing fee or any support fee, everything will be manged by the hosting provider.
