With many websites their biggest downfall is the activeness. Many blogs fail because the authors don't post daily or forums fails because members and staff aren't posting. It's really easy to post at least 1 or 2 times a day. You also want to make sure that your not posting the same topic over and over you want to have a rang of topics. For example say you posted 1 topic about website designing the next day post something different such as a favorite TV show.
These are my thoughts on posting daily.
First, we have to know reason for creating the website and a basic understanding of the market it serves. From there, we build our overall concept, design and contents based on how you can serve your market better to get the desired traffic and leads which you need for your business.
Once you have created your website and your initial contents. The posting frequency will depend on the visitors to your site, its regular following, and conversion rate. The comments or reaction generated will also give you a glimpse on your performance. Normally, some experiment on a weekly basis by starting with 1 daily post, then increase it to 2-3/day, up till 5-10. Check on the variation of the results to gauge impact of frequency over traffic.
As far as content management is concerned, you cannot sacrifice your quality in exchange for quantity. Seeing value in your content and relating with your article is what you visitor expect to experience.
Nothing beats a powerful blog that leaves lasting positive impressions. There are even some people who can getaway with weekly or monthly blogs simply because they have reached authority stature and steady following. The secret to their success is knowing by experience the importance of consistently creating performing blogs highly anticipated by his readers.
Some also employ the technique of guest posting or content sharing on popular social media sites to secure the backlinks and achieve SEO. Others rehash their old blogs to give it an updated version. Frequency of blogs do not determine success. It can stress you out or drain your creative juice especially if you are doing it alone.
Monitoring and planning your blogs
strategically are your keys to success.
