With many websites their biggest downfall is the activeness. Many blogs fail because the authors don't post daily or forums fails because members and staff aren't posting. It's really easy to post at least 1 or 2 times a day. You also want to make sure that your not posting the same topic over and over you want to have a rang of topics. For example say you posted 1 topic about website designing the next day post something different such as a favorite TV show.

You are right for posting, regularly posting on blog is most important.
But if you have niche blog you don't wanna post about your favorite food, show, music etc. You must stick to topic, but you can post similar topics.

For instance if you running blog about used cars you can have post about new cars shows or similar topics related to the cars.

Keeping active on your blog will help it gain ranking and traffic so you'll want to try to post regularly to help the blog.

Most blogs are best to stick to the topic/niche of the blog but you can sometimes vary things slightly if they are related. For example if you have an internet marketing blog then you can post things that are not exactly about marketing. You can make posts about websites and blogs, social media, emails and some other things that do have some to do with internet marketing but not exactly the topic.

I think its great if you can post every day on your blog or forum. But you don't want to over do it on your forum. It may be a big turn off to potential members if you have a ton of posts with no replies. And as far as a blog goes if its quality content and relevant, then by all means go ahead and post as many times a day that you want. Because google loves good content.

I agree with you here about the difference of posting on a blog versus a forum. The blog can be your own domain for personal quality content, but the forum, obviously, is a place for more of a community rather than an individual environment, if you ask me. However, I think it's a great idea to have guest-bloggers on your blog.

Guest bloggers are a great idea to keep your blog active. Some people will trade posting if you ask. In other words, they post on your blog or forum in exchange for you posting on theirs. If can be a very mutually beneficial relationship.

Yes, it is really easy for people to post on the same topic because of lack of knowledge span on different niches, and also copying the same material over and over again because of the same reason. That said it is also important to post on topics which you are aware of and have a deep knowledge base. If because of writing on the same topic you feel that you need to write on different subjects but you have no real knowledge of them, then you may not do justice to you or to the forum or blog where you're submitting your posts. It is always wiser to write on the subjects of interests and have fun. Because if we write on unknown topics then words may not come naturally.

If it is a blog it is not necessary to post daily. More contents do not mean more readers. You should go after quality rather than quantity. Furthermore, if you publish daily your regular readers migh be bored. However, on a forum you should make sure to posyt daily. Forum needs active participation.

One concern is that some people want quality in their content. It is really hard to balance quality and quantity. It also depends on your niche because of the number of materials that you can use.

Regular posting will keep your website visible and ranking since the new content will keep traffic coming to your site expecting something new and fresh. If you have many websites it will be nice to hire freelancers to write for you.

I agree posting everyday is crucial if you want to maintain a good spot in the rankings. I often see blogs fallout because they weren't consistent with their contents. You tubers tend to make a schedule for posting their contents which is great since you need to take a break from time to time. While in blogs you need to update them every single day.

I have done something with my blogs that help alot in keeping things active. I am not the best writer in the world i will admit but a good tactic is after supplying some good information and content is to leave your blog with a open ended question , something that readers will discuss. I find many times one or more readers will disagree on something , and debate it on the blog, if i they reach a point of agreement , i poke the fire by inserting another open question and the two go at it again.

That way one i get good activity with not much effort as i have to focus on thing like design ect ect ....and two the topic and hand is extensively discussed and debated and not just reliant on my content. Users appreciate being able to have input. When i see people start following me , i might use their really good comments in qoutes, this shows other users comenting could lead being in the article , a great incentive to keep things active.

Posting everyday in a blog and forum gives you a lot of information on the situation of our community; what is tread and viral. it can also help others and you can also learn from other comments and bloggers. So its Good to be updated everyday in forums and post to different blogs.

I quite agree with you on how relevant it is to make post regularly especially on blogs. This is more important when you have hungry readers who will definitely be checking up frequently for new posts. However, some bloggers dont have all the time to do frequent updates on their blogs, in such a scenario, instead of not posting as often as possible, such bloggers should try to answer/reply their readers comments/questions.

For posting frequently on the forum, it might put some of the forum members off, so it is possibly better to not do the posting on a daily basis.

I really agree with you, when they say that it should be published daily ... but I would recommend posting quality content, as it will be the best. Unique content and good quality.

Publish will continually accustom to the bot of Google, Bing ... to happen more frequently by its website.

I agree, Posting daily in your blog is a big help to improve your site.
If you want your blog to have good raking and high traffic then you should update new post every day with unique and good content. Make you that your cant will attract or catch the readers so they would love to check your blog daily waiting and excited to read or view your coming post. The more you post new things on your site the more chance to get high traffic and the more you get traffic the more you get a good ranking. People are looking forward to the new topic so the more you update your site the more they will like it.

you should always have brand new idea or topic everyday, even just the simple blog, about what's happening around you, just to make your site attractive to the viewers, and always comeback to see if there's a new topic.

I don't think that you necessarily have to post on your blog or forum daily but it is really important that you post on both regularly and keep them active. For your blog 3-4 posts per week should be enough, especially if your followers are actively engaging in discussions.

In my opinion, it depends on the content of the blog. People don't have the time to read your blog every day. Once a week is fine. You should also post content that is interesting enough so that even if you're not posting new content, people are still discussing and engaging with your content.

When I like blogs I don't check every day to see if anything has been posted. What keeps me going back is that I expect good content. This includes entertaining and useful information.
