Main benefit is you will be attracted by those persons who can get you some clients and you will be paying them commission for each new sales. So Main benifit is spreading your company name and Business and also getting new clients.
How does it work?

It really depends on the way you start it. If you want to automate it , then you really need to have a affiliate marketing softwares installed and setup. You can get a list of them by google search the below term "Affiliate Marketing Tracking Software Platforms"
