I installed SSL (HTTPS) for my domain name in Directadmin but when I create a sub domainname then it is showing this

I created a A record for my subdomain name in DNS management like this

A subdomain.example.com IP Address

but it is showing Apache is functioning normally on my browser

Not sure what to fix now? any help?

I believe you need to purchase wild card ssl in order to secure the subdomain associated with the domain name , normal SSL will not secure the sub domain. Contact your SSL Provider and ask them about it.

I faced same problem and I solved it and you might need to check your IP that you are pointing your subdomain to. Don't create A record that pointing to your real IP address of your server, use IP that you have setup SSL for your domain name instead.

As using Directadmin, you need a dedicated IP address to verify SSL for your domain, point that IP address for your subdomain, it will work.
Also, choose this

use_ssl_for_subdomain.jpg

to make sure subdomain will use right folder on your hosting.
