When selling a product, what is the easiest for you. I have tried instagram a few times and it's alright but I feel it doesn't have enough to display the product I am selling. Some things I hear on Facebook you are required to pay for when doing business through them. What are your views and how does it work for you?

Mostly it depends on the product you are trying to sell. We do not use Instagram but use Facebook instead as it reaches our target audience more. Also Twitter is a good place to reach our future customers.

Well for me, Facebook certainly is my choice. So many pages and posts opportunity and users as well. Online business is one of the fastest growing activities so might as well use it in one of the most visited sites.

I really suggest you to use both. Instagram is good for promotion. The only disadvantage on Instagram is you have to pay to promote your product unless your account is not switch to business. On Facebook, every thing is free, but nowadays Facebook is not that secure like it was in the past. I would suggest you to use both and use other websites such as SEO, it will help you to get customers very fast.

I think both offer great promotional opportunities and diversification. Instagram is more image/video oriented, while Facebook is an all-around platform. They complement each other well.

If you aren't willing to post every two days instagram isn't probably right for you. Instagram requires some time invested taking photos and engaging with people and going through hashtags to like and comment people who may be interested in your products. I have a lot of acquaintances crushing it on instagram though because of the amounts they post and engage. It's why people who sell socks and stickers and making little fortunes.

Much better to use facebook for marketing and advertising a business, not everyone uses instagram. My mom and dad doesn't have an instagram as well as their friends. But i advice to use both when marketing a product, millenials uses instagram and older generations uses facebook.

Both are operated by facebook group. Facebook is the most favourite social platforms and widely used by millions of people. Facebook offers many features compare to instagram.

It is a very subjective question. Although the number of users are more on Facebook due to it's time period and popularity and the ability to connect to your social circle, I personally feel Instagram is better!
Reasons being:
  1. The variety of instagrammers, ranging from food to health to sports and what not!
  2. Instagram allows you to browse through trending pages, topics, posts even when you are not following them. Facebook only suggests you pages and friends but never the content they share.
  3. Instagram is all about pictures and who does not like them?
  4. The ux of Instagram is far better than Facebook.
  5. After a period I think people will slowly get bored of Facebook. Instagram is the new app that's catching everyone's attention.
But most importantly Instagram is not about your social circle primarily! It is about exploring topics you like visually! It is about seeing your favourite celebrity in action throughout the day! Everything is instant! Even though Facebook has similar features, it somehow does not click.
Who cares, Facebook owns Instagram anyways!

We are running ads on both for just brand promotion, but really I don't like both of them, the results are not much good.
I recommend search engine ads on specific keywords.

Now I am using Twitter more than 2 these social networks. I see that Twitter is more easier to promote and get followers and visitors to my websites.
