Godaddy refund?

5 years ago, Godaddy charged me for an expiring domain that I didn't want to renew it any more, after that I requested and got refund after one or two week. Today I have just bought a shared hosting plan from Godaddy but after checked it didn't fit my requirements to run my website hence I submitted a request to get refunded. Will Godaddy refund me for web hosting service that I bought?

Just took a look at GoDaddy's refund policy for hosting service. It states

Hosting Services
If a Hosting Service has already been performed, then it is non-refundable (if not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction).

I read this and not sure I can get refund or not.

If a Hosting Service has already been performed, then it is non-refundable (if not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction).

What is the status when hosting service is performed or not?

You do not get a refund once the setup is initiated.
