Have you checked Web Hosting Offers section https://forumweb.hosting/marketplace/ on this forum?
There are many good hosting providers there and you can choose one that fit your requirements.
Keep in mind that no one is the best that only the best for what you are needing on your websites.

Always go with the paid services as there would be some restrictions with respect to disk space, bandwidth, databases etc on the free hosting service.

You can check paid shared hosting service offers here:- https://forumweb.hosting/marketplace/categories/shared-hosting-offers.11/

Most of the providers do provide money back guarantee so you can test out website design and functionality on their server without any issues.

Best of luck. :)

Free hosting is usually offered by the website creation platforms and not all of them lets you upload your own website or use your domain.

If you are looking for free hosting, you can try affiliate programs and use it to get a hosting plan. Most providers usually have affiliate links, which you can put on your website and if someone orders using that link, you will get a bonus. This bonus, later on, can be used for ordering your own services.

30-day money back offers are also an option so you can try out the services if it fits your needs.

There are many, many webhosts out there. Can you give us some details about what type of service you are looking for? What type of website do you intend to run? Do you need a sitebuilder or will you be building your own? Using a platform like Wordpress? More details will help us to help you....

The OP is looking for a free hosting service.

I'm currently looking for free web hosting service to test out my website design as well as functionality.
And what you are asking is to test your website design then I think it is not necessary to have upload it to a web hosting, you can use "localhost" to test or if they are just HTML pages, you can run directly on your PC.

Hope this helped.

In terms of free hosting, most likely the cheapest budget plan you can find out there will be better then most free services. When you are using a "Free" Service you are not the client but the product.

Free vs Paid, always paid hosting would be recommended to host your website in public from the perspective of server uptime, data safety and technical support.
Only for testing purpose, you can try free hosting plan of 000webhost.
If you want to test a hosting provider before to go live by confirming its functionality which meet as per your requirement, then you can find many providers at hosting offer section of this forum, choose one with 30 days money back or also can go with 1st month price around $1.

I agree with you.Free hosting service always comes with a free domain. As an example: mydomain.freehosting.com
That way,the site benefits when other users see the freehosting in your domain, users visit the domain and order a free domain like my self.
Thank you for suggesting the forum section.I have visited it already.

Unfortunately, you will not get benefit when you use free domain like that, it is just giving benefit to your hosting provider who is owing that domain name. And a disadvantage when using sub-domain like that, is you will be hard to grow your website, you should go with your own domain, of course is you can use free hosting with your own domain, that's more better.

From my experience, you get what you pay for..You can't use your own domain with most of the free hostings but paid ones have really nice offers even for low budgets. Like, I tried mojohost и isprime and advanced hosting and chose the best one for my needs.

Seems like there is some confusion here about domains versus subdomains. I personally don't consider a free subdomain offered by free web hosting providers to be a "free domain." If you're running any type of commercial business, go with a domain that you can grow from versus a subdomain that belongs to the host.
