If you go to a website, what are the design factors that will see you sticking around to browse more?

I'm in the process of developing a website for my travel writing, but I really want to get some opinions about what design elements you gravitate towards, and which design elements see you closing out of a webpage.

Thanks in advance for your input.
Advertising via search engines, display networks, and social media platforms are all effective ways to generate a large number of highly targeted visitors to your website.

Keep it simple, don't make the customer have to go looking for it in wordy paragraphs. Short titles, 2-3 sentence descriptions, and bullet points. SEO Rules have created some bad habits. Use your best judgement and do what makes sense for your business.

I want to make sure that there is content on each page. Is it relevant? Are there any images? What about videos? Do they work? How long does it take to load? These are just some examples of what I am looking for.

The first thing that captures my attention is design. Does it look professional? Is the color scheme pleasing to the eye? Is the content easy to read? Is the content value-add? Is it easy to navigate through the site? Does it look like a hundred other themes in the same industry? Is there a phone number on the site? Is it relevant to what I was searching for?

Excellent point about the site style being similar to the rest. When you stumble upon several sites made according to one template. You begin to think that since the owner treats the visible part of his product so quickly, he will treat you with the same approach. This is right on point!

Here's what captures my attention before I dive deep into the content:
  • Visual aesthetics.
  • Smooth Navigation
  • Lightening Speed
If I'm on a website that offers a service, I always check the about us and contact pages to see if it's run by genuine people in good faith, and it's not another scam.

A good website has a user-friendly appearance and offers the customer interesting content. It also functions quickly on mobile and has a reputable image. I needed a competent, web designer for my website and one of my friends suggested Web Design Glory for this work. I must say that they provide quality work in a very professional manner, and they value my input throughout the entire process.
