You know you would have to look at the resource usage it could be going down for a completely unrelated problem. Just fyi you have a VPS so listing the cores is not relevant. Since your VPS cores are virtualized and access to those cores are throttled and managed by your VPS host and the node. Those specs should be able to handle a lot more traffic if setup correctly.

You want to make sure your server is running well and there are no software conflicts or massive error problems, HD to full, not enough swap space you can go on and on. I would recommend going through your logs at the time of the crash. It could be that you just need a different provider not saying you do but its not impossible.

I have have seen things as stupid as a WP template problem cause a server to crash due to outrageous resource usage.

Your node could also be unstable overloaded or a hardware problem raid controller causing problems.

Have you contacted your host and made them aware of the problem you are having.

You mention a music streaming website, so is that 100 people streaming at the same time?
If this is a fairly consistent usage it could be topping your resources. As Kevin mentioned start by looking at your usage, then having a chat with your hosting provider.
If it's genuine usage of your resources to point of crashing your site, it may be time to upgrade to dedicated.

As my experience, 4GB RAM Memory is not enough to handle that amount of that traffic, unless you optimize your server the best as possible but it can be overload sometimes. Definitely you should update your server, maybe 8GB+ of RAM will be good to go with and that also depends on the script you are using, if your script is generating many queries then you could need more RAM and CPU cores for your server.
