Hi everyone,

Can someone please clarify if the following setting in CSF/LFD :

Code:
PORTFLOOD = "80;tcp;20;5"
If I change it to

Code:
PORTFLOOD = ""
There are some problems can happen?

Hi,

if you set it to "empty", it will disable the port flood protection.

Everything will continue to work except you will not be protected against port flood.

Generally speaking this determines how many simultaneous connections a single IP can make to your server.
So the default would be 20 connections within a 5 second window.

Keep in mind based on settings some browsers open multiple connections to websites in order to load content at once so your mileage may vary with this setting.
