cPanel lifetime license?

I bought cpanel/whm license and paying $20 monthly but I see if I buy cPanel lifetime license then it would be cheaper because I only pay once although I know it will be a big amount of money but I don't see the option to allow buy lifetime license. Does cPanel sell lifetime license?

cPanel does not sell the lifetime license now. Sometimes there is issue of applying new updated of cPanel so this service is not available now. Still I would suggest, contact the cPanel support once for it.

I didn't see this mentioned in the thread, but fair to mention you can buy a lifetime cPanel license. You'll just have to obtain it directly from someone who already owns the license.

I'm not sure if this is against their terms (license transfers), but it's happened quite a lot of times since they've discontinued this type of license.

Also, you still will have to pay for the updates. I think this is an annual fee, generally cheaper than leasing a license.

I would advise against of buying an existing license, I must get an email every week offering to sell me one from not exactly reputable sources.

If you want WhMCS then just but it, it's only $15 a month for starter which is more or less free.

They don't sell lifetime license, I guess it's not profitable in the long term.

Yes similar to WHMCS who have also now stopped selling lifetime licences....figures probably dont add up!

Lifetime licenses is not a real good way to sell the software, especially when its under active development. So this may lead to lack of funds and can slow down or stop the whole development behind. It is only applicable for software which needs only initial development effort or needs rare updates/patches. With that in mind, cPanel does not offer one-time license. If you want to save some cost, your best bet is to buy a yearly license. Maybe contact some resellers and see whether they can give any better offer for you.

I tried to conduct a cpanel verify on my ip adress. It says i dont have a valid licence for cpanel. Strange coz i have a cpanel and WHM reseller account.
The hosting main ip adress do checks out [ https://verify.cpanel.net/index.cgi?ip=199.195.255.66 ]
so why mine is not "validated" ?

Every one is slowly stopping life time or one time license as that will not give them a stable monthly income and without stable monthly income, no one can provide such a support and updates like cPanel and Whmcs are providing. Just think, any one who owns a license is contacting the cpanel support team and is getting support from them even if that matter is a small one or a serious one like hacking or migration at some times as well. So for all these they need regular staff and devel team to keep on improving the performance and security patches.

Those who wish to provide stable development and updates will never look for one time license any more.

cPanel doesn't provide its license of lifetime, It can provide you maximum 3years of onetime payment If you want to use it for dedicated server.

I do have a cpanel LIFETIME license for sale. I have it since 2003 and I´m getting off from the web hosting business. If you are interested send me a PM.

It´s a legitimate license and the sale process will be through a cpanel. You can check whatever you want.

You can take cPanel nulled proxy to use free cpanel whm but it's illegal to use towards the terms and conditions of cPanel.net

cPanel did not offer lifetime licenses. cPanel typically provides its licenses on a subscription-based model.
