Based from what I learn here Web Host usually cater services to people who owns or wants to own a website. People usually pay for these services and web hosts earn money thru this. So as a person who wants to own a business what rate should we expect if we want to avail this kind of service? Is this really necessary if you want to start up your own site?

Website hosting or shared hosting is a good starting point if your website is new, the price my vary depending on your needs. If you run a small website it can be a few $ per month or year.

The web hosting cost vary according to the service provider and type of service he is providing to you. If you are providing the 24 hours of support, server security, monitoring, extra services along with the web hosting service then the hosting cost will be more.

It also depend on the quality of service you are providing to your customers. The disk space, bandwidth usage, resources, email accounts also decides the cost of web hosting service. If these are more then cost of web hosting service is more.

When I've created my own self hosted website, I paid for at least 18 dollars for a shared hosting plan semi-annually. I don't have lots of traffic on the site so its quite more than enough to suffice the average bandwidth I used daily.

I have experience having a website before, since I have my products to sell online. First thing I did was to use free web hosting, there are a lot you can find in the internet. After a couple of months using free web hosting, I actually produced enough money from my income in my internet business, but to give you a proper amount on how much I spend for my website host, it is around 15-20 USD annually.

Will you be rich doing web hosting?
Is it difficult or is it easy?
What skills you need to have in order to succeed in this business.
I hear this a lot and i don't have any idea about this or how to do it.
Haha just curious...

My current web hosting plan costs only about $8 per month because I've chosen a long term subscription (I also got a free domain). It includes cloudflare CDN, SSL certificates, SSD storage and other.

Web hosting plan cost depends on your website needs and its vary from web host to web host. Well In average a shared web hosting plan starts from $3.95 Per month. However as I said that it will depend on the size of your website and the plan you have choose.

First thing I check for when I look for hosting for a website and I echo to my friends who want to get online are:
1. Reputation - check reviews and see if they have a good reputation, there's a lot of big companies out there who are well known who are useless.
2. Price / Packages - I check the packages I don't believe in "unlimited", most websites require less than 1GB. So I try and work out the closest package.

Most 1GB packages are $1 per month which is really affordable but if they have great uptime and cloudlinux, litespeed etc then I'd fork out more towards it as you are paying to use the software. Even backups on top they are a life saver so a few $$ more towards the plan is perfect in my opinion.

It will be depending on the type of service your going to provide. There are affordable web hosting services that you can subscribe with but expect that it has a lesser space and bandwith. One factor is flasing ads that gives entertainment and pleasure for visitors.

I recently moved to Namecheap and I am paying $9.99 for a year because it was a special. So far my website gets very little traffic so its enough for my needs. I do however plan on moving to a VPS latter down the road. But only when/if my website needs it. Because I am not going to over pay for webhosting.

Currently I pay $5.95 for a quality host. Perfect up-time, they always email ahead of time to let customers know about upcoming server or site maintenance too. Their payment process i easy and hassle free, and their cpanel is easy to use when I need to go in and upload or edit anything. Great service, great price.

Web Host usually caters services to people who wants to own a website. This is necessary if you want to start up your own site? Web hosting plan depends on your website needs. It varies from a web host to web host but in an average shared web hosting plan may average to $3-5 a month. Once you have your own domain you can start at around $11-15 a month.

I used to pay $20 a year for my website, but as my site started to grow and I started adding better content, I decided to start paying $60 a year, which is premium. I feel like if you're a growing website and you're deciding between going premium or not, definitely go premium. Throwing the extra money into your website will be so beneficial for you in the long run. Mostly because, premium hosting companies offer way more support to their premium subscribers than their other subscribers, to be honest. You're paying them to have your back and it is 100% worth it.

Web hosting is great, according to them. But I have not yet try doing web hosting because I have no idea what is it. But with the help of everyone here, I know someday I can earn too. As of now, I am currently looking the details and information how to get started with it. But I'm grateful to be part of this conversation.

Some web hosting companies are cheaper than others, as far as I know Go Daddy web hosting company range from 2-3 USD per month. 1 and 1 web hosting company offers different prices for different domain category it depends on your website what domain would it be. You can search 1 and 1 web hosting company for your self to check out their price list, you can also search out there for to choose and compare which web hosting company you like. If your website needs more security then prefer to choose a high price domain. I prefer my website to be secured doesn't matter how price is.

There are a lot benefits and privileges if you pay for web hosting. You may choose a dedicated web hosting in which you are not sharing the server with any other customer. You have the freedom to install whatever you want and you can access the root of the server. The only disadvantage about dedicated web hosting is that it is very expensive. Some would cost you around $200 per month. Just try to think about it and choose the best package that would cater for your needs.
