What is the difference between litespeed and apache?

Can you tell me what is the difference between litespeed and apache? I want to try litespeed because it seems better than Apache as what everyone is talking about it.

The main difference is the price. Apache is free and can be optimized to handle more traffic and to use less resources, when litespeed is a paid web server.
If you are not a provider, you should not need to use litespeed. You can find easily some tips to optimize Apache.

Both are web servers, however Litespeed is much faster.

Apache use modules, which makes it slow, however, there is open source version of LiteSpeed released, but you will have to compile it on your own.
