Actually if you don't go with EA4 you won't get cPanel updates, and all new installs just come with ea4

So EA3 is obsolete

Go with the option Easyapache 4 and migrate to it if it is not happened yet on your server.

You can refer the document provided by cpanel itself on migrating from Easyapache 3 to Easyapache 4

https://go.cpanel.net/installEA4

On Easyapache 4 the interface will be different, you will get easy and plenty of php and apache enabling options . Also you can deal with php 7.xxx versions there. The multiphp manager is pretty cool and time saving.

Just experience yourself. :chair:

Hello,
Yes I would suggest for the same to go with Easy Apache4.
It is loaded of much more features then Easy Apache 3.
And you would feel the difference by yourself.

No reboots are for kernel updates only.

Well Easyapache 4 is the newer and improved version of Easy Apache so it is recommended to upgrade your Cpanel to EA4
