Can you guys tell me why I am getting this error when sending emails to @gmail.com or @yahoo.com

Your server IP has been black listed for spamming issues by google and yahoo and hence you are not able to send the mails.

If you are using your own server , you will have to check the server for malicious script like PHP which are generating spams , you will need to tweak the mail server , scan the server with maldet , secure and harden server to improve the mail service security.

How can it happen that? we are only sending emails to our customers :)

Is there a place to check if our IP or domains are getting blacklisted by mail servers?

What is maldet? how to use to scan our server?

You are right , but if you have websites hosted on the same server with wordpress , joomla and if the server is not secured properly your server can be a open relay in such situations your server can be used to send mails by spammers , malicious PHP scripts.

You can check the IP blacklist at

If you are unable to send email to gmail or yahoo but you are able to send emails to other domains perfectly, most probably your mail ip/server ip got blacklisted in gmail or yahoo spam database. So you need to send a delist request google or yahoo accordingly to whitelist your ip.

Regarding sending spam, spammers can get into your hosting account via outdated wordpress plugins,themes and can generate mass spam emails via php scripts. Scan your account periodically and update wordpress/joomla to avoid such incidents.

Hello ,
This is surely the case of spamming , though you only send the mails to respective clients but when a person uses the third party plugins then they may create spamming through infected files.
Due to which spamming is created which may cause gmail or yahoo mail to block one's IP .
So, firt of all you may scan your server and do clean it.
After that use several server hardening method to secure your server by spamming.
And contact gmail and yahoo mail support for your issue.
