Why do moderators delete useful post but fail to delete replicated post that naturally hurt the forums SEO? Just a question anxious to know the answer. You guys do know that deleting post only discourages posting but makes the moderators of the forum look unprofessional and makes users have a sense of distrust. Considering all the moderators here are hosting administrators and run hosting companies does anyone feel that some of the post being deleted are wrongly deleted. I've literally seen about 20 post in this forum already in the last week copied from WHT or LET not only that but users are allowed to spam simple questions that can be easily googled for the answers over and over again.
This thread might get deleted also, so I'm just going to take a screenshot of it.
Thanks mate for concerning about duplicated content on the forum but to be honest (as Alex said) we easily know who is writing unique content and who is copying content from other sources
.
If they posted same question/replies from other forum to this forum but they are their content then we can accept. If they copied content from other forums (that not owned by them) to make replies on this forum then will be deleted posts/warned and banned the account.
Why some users posted same questions on forums because they want to have more ideas/solutions/answers for their questions, they posted on a forum but they didn't get enough information for their questions then they can ask same question on other forums to have more ideas for their questions, I think that's ok and not a problem with our forum.
Are you sure members posted their questions on WHT or LET then they got enough information or the most useful information for their questions?
For a question we can have 101/1001 different answers if wanted, users can find out which answer is the best for you hence nothing is the best and they can ask their questions on different forums if wanted.
I'll wait for some members to respond outside of the forum moderating team.
I also wait for other opinions from members
but I think this rule is fair and members will agree because they could not want to rewrite their questions/replies when posting to the forum.
