Anyone here using cloudstack for a public cloud? I have an extra rack of servers and am considering testing out a cloudstack install backed with a ceph cluster for storage. Any opinions from those that have used it before? I have gone back and forth between openstack and cloudstack at least a dozen times. If you chose one over the other, what was it that made you change your mind?

Yep, we have a couple cloudStack clouds. It's a great system.

The biggest benefit to CloudStack vs OpenStack is the ease of use.

Openstack and CloudStack are both open source platforms for creating homogeneous cloud infrastructure.

It's the software you use to turn a rack of servers into a "cloud" system where multiple servers function as one.

You can use cloudstack or openstack. We had use cloudstack before. But few Issue that facing
1) Change IP address.
2) Limit Customer by Data Transfer
3) View Bandwith Usage , either data transfer or speed. There is no way to see this.
4) Limit the speed of the VM .
