I checked soyoustart and they are offering both dedicated servers and game servers with same price $42 or $49 /mo. I want to know what are the differences between dedicated servers and game servers? and I can use a game server to host my websites or blogs?

Main diff is intended purpose of the cpu models/families by intel - gaming = desktop processors with non-ecc memory vs non-gaming = server grade xeon processors with ecc memory.

You can use gaming servers for web sites and blogs. I have an OVH I7 4790K 32GB ram, 2x240GB dedicated for hosting and centmin mod lemp stack testing. Black friday special at $46/month

OVH has a firewall feature on their gaming servers and block dns port 53 by default, something non-gaming don't have or do out of the box.

Why they offering games severs, what purposes can I use games server for? can I use dedicated servers as game servers?
As i know games need high specs, if so, at the same rate, games servers are always better and stronger than dedicated servers?

You can use any high spec server as a game server , as eva2000 mentioned it all depends on the purpose. So if you get a high config server you can use to host a heavy website , hosting gaming server , can be used for shared hosting , can be used for VPS hosting ...

I think the difference between dedicated and game servers are only to their DDOS protection infrastructure. Game ddos protection its stronger and better instead of their standard ddos protection.

Gaming services require high cpu clocks which Core i7 4790K @4.0-4.4Ghz and i7 6700 @4.0-4.2Ghz provide. Server grade Xeons are usually clocked lower around @2.2Ghz to 2.8Ghz.

If gaming servers require high cpu clocks then it will help my website load faster normal dedicated server? I am confusing about this.

Not really.

CPU usage to display your website is probably be under 1%, so higher cpu clocks will not impact your website speed more than 0.1%.

Website loading speed isn't impact only by CPU, Memory or storage but more by softwares used, network and disks latency, and your app code.

But to perform task which require high CPU usage, like building packages from sources or mining cryptocurrencies, a i7-4790K will be faster than the most part of other CPUs.
