Cloudflare is the first and easiest option. However that depends on if they are attacking your domain or your IP.

If your IP is being targeted directly, you will need either a in-house filtering solution from your provider, or use a GRE tunneled solution from Incapsula, X4B, etc.

Cloudflare is the best option and is low cost its best to not even try anything else because its either expensive or just not worth doing.

No doubt , cloud flare is the suited solution you however at some extent. For the massive DDOS attacks you need to get a DDOS mitigation device. Check with your service provider if they have anti-ddos solution and upto what extent they can stop the DDOS.

I know Cloudflare is the best option to use Ddos protection for free but Its redirection page is making my site lose visitors, it took so long and users must wait hence I need other options for anti Ddos attacks

No one can explain how your providers DDoS protection is, that you would need to find out from them. Some have in house protection and some use like Voxility or someone else. If they don't offer any DDoS protection try and get a larger network uplink. I'm not sure what details you wish for everyone to give unless you had your own DDoS protection hardware or something. Your provider should have all of that information on how much filtering they can handle and how much your receiving.

GRE tunneling for DDoS protection is not a easy thing to explain nor fully understand.

Basically, you have a secure tunnel between your server, and the DDoS mitigation providers scrubbing center. All of your traffic is directed thru this tunnel, and other connection outside of the tunnel are refused. This causes all traffic to be routed through the scrubbing scented.

Many dedicated server providers including us, offer DDoS protection upto 100Gbps for dedicated servers. You can use Cloudflare to prevent the DDoS attack to your domain but it is not possible to prevent the attack if the hacker/attacker knows your IP address. Attackers always very intelligent to find your correct IP behind the cloudflare. So we recommend, choosing a server from hosting provider who offers DDoS protection, once you configured DDoS protection settings to your requirements after referring the attack history, it will help to prevent attack.
