I have more recommendations to 2CheckOut over the other when I'm using WHMCS as my hosting backend. What about Stripe. Did you use it? How can it compare with 2CheckOut? any comments?

Meh just use stripe 2CheckOut is to much of a hassle you can get straight down to business with stripe and its a WHMCS add on, add your bank account to stripe and your good to go.

Any reason you don't like PayPal ? It's the only payment back end for WHMCS I've ever used and never had any issues.

In dealing with getting an account with 2Checkout vs Stripe, Stripe is much easier to get an account and setup. Their interface is easy to use. I haven't checked costs but I would compare all of them including paypal and look into a merchant account too, Authorize.net, Quantum Gateway etc.

Does 2checkout still hold your money for x amount of days? I used 2checkout once upon a time (pre Maxmind/WHMCS) because they provided great screen against fraud. However once Maxmind/WHMCS hit the scene, the 5.5% they were charging per transaction + holding 5% in reserve just didnt work. Not to mention, they only paid weekly.

We've been using Braintree for sometime now, so cant comment much about Stripe.

We use stripe. It's easy to signup and setup. Very easy dashboard to manage.

I never faced this before but I will remember this information if I use 2checkout.

Will try and see how it works.

Thank you!

I wote for Stripe. Is much easier to set up and they have alseo very competitive pricing. E.g. just $15 fee for a dispute and only if you loose the dispute.

Baring in mind that unless you're using stripe.js you must be PCI compliant. Even if you're using tokenised details.

We currently accept PayPal and are currently in the process of opening 2checkout now that they've started accepting web hosting companies. We've been emailing back and forth with an account manager who's been very helpful and supportive.

Both these payment gateways will allow me to transfer money to Paypal?
