is Namecheap.com an Enom reseller?

Hi Guys,

Just want someone can confirm me or let me know if Namecheap is an enom reseller? Because in my domain whois it appears (ENOM.COM)?

They are for the most part. Most of my domains (with them) say the registrar is Enom. Others don't say who the registrar is.
So it's very likely they still are an ENom reseller.

Seem you are right in this case, I tried to check my domain which whois which hosting at namecheap and enom appeared on the screen.

But I am not sure to say that Namecheap.com is an Enom reseller, needing a experienced person to answer this.

Yep, they are Enom's biggest reseller. Probably get better rates than their Platinum plan.

The answer to your questions since I obviously cannot bluntly answer the question with 2 to 3 words is namecheap is a reseller of eNom they have a contract with them basically stating that they will sell XXX,XXX amount of domains per year to XX% amount of dollar discount.

If I remember correctly namecheap resells domains from other registrars aswell, most of the popular TLD's are supplied thru enom.

Namecheap is an ICANN-accredited domain name registrar from 2007 however it often does register domains via ENOM. It has been gradually registering domains themselves rather than via Enom.

I believe a lot of companies now a days resell domains for enom or other reseller companies out there.
