Good day,
I have no clue about CPanel, but I need to fix something about it. The problem is this... if I for instance type this URL: xxx/safari For a brief moment it adds a trailing slash, like this: xxx/safaris/ Before it redirects (301)
This causes issues with SEO
How can I fix this? I use angular and Scully to build a static site, which uses directories. Each contains an HTML file though.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

This dues to website system, not by cpanel. What web platform are you using? can you share a screenshot or explain more details?

Hi David. Thanks for the reply. I wrote the code in Angular. I then used Scully to make it a static site. Is this what you need to know? The site is africaunwind and then dot com :) I am unable to write the URL here. PLEASE let me know if I can give more info. THANKS for being willing to help. I have no idea how to get rid of it and I've tried a few things on the .htacess? file

I visited your website and it is running as well. Honestly I don't understand what problem you are facing with your website url. Can you show what you want to correct it and what you want to fix error, which is on your site now?

URL: xxx/safari/ -> here 'safari' is a directory or folder.
URL: xxx/safari -> here 'safari' is a file.
Both will give access to the same content but you are right that both the URLs are different for search engine and the first one can affect SEO.
You need to check first if this is the reason in your case because there may be other reasons also.

Safari is the most inconvenient browser, for such purposes, most likely the problem will disappear in another browser.
