Would you choose R1Soft or a a different backup service for cPanel?

I realize that R1Soft is very popular in web hosting industry and its recommended by web host providers. Is there a possibility of using new clients if R1soft backup/restore is not a provided as part of the hosting package? I would hear your thoughts on R1Soft and other backup methods for cPanel.

No doubt R1 soft is recommended software , however there are alternatives for cpanel backup like default Cpanel back up , CPback up module , Jetmanager etc ...

R!Soft is the most popular backup software but you could look into using JetBackUp manager. It's a good, affordable alternative to R1Soft.

First of all, let us understand what is R1Soft. R1Soft is a software for backup which provides CDP or Continuous Data Protection. Unlike the other cPanel backup solutions, R1Soft CDP takes backup of servers at block level. It means you can restore the whole server from the available backup in case the server crashes. Block level backup ensures you can even backup files which are in use. It provides cPanel plugin which can be used by individual account owners to restore the backup of their website(s). However, R1Soft should not be compared with other cPanel backup solutions. R1Soft can be used with any Linux distro as well as Windows.
