I just got a new VPS and installed Centos 7 but some old hosting features can not be compatible with this version, i want to downgrade Centos 7 to 6.x without reinstall my vps, how can i do this?
LAMP stopped working after upgrade to CentOS 7, it could not auto run on boot. What old hosting features are you using that aren't compatible with CentOS 7?
Hello, you can't downgrade Centos.
You will have to reinstall your vps to use Centos 6
You are right, I reinstalled my VPS instead of using commands from hosting tutorials on the internet, they are complex and I got errors when following their steps to downgrade to Centos6.Not possible, just backup all your data and request a fresh install for CentOs6 from your host.
I thought about this and did some searching but I think it is not possible or it should not be done because you can remove all components of Centos 7 which you installed on your hosting server, it is better to reinstall your VPS in this case so that you will have a fresh CentOS 6 to install somethings you want on it.I just got a new VPS and installed Centos 7 but some old hosting features can not be compatible with this version, i want to downgrade Centos 7 to 6.x without reinstall my vps, how can i do this?
