I know this is an old post but I wanted to say thanks. I am going to try a few of these out. I only ever use GIMP and Krita but I know I can do more if I add in a few other programs.

Besides Photoshop, I would have to say Pixlr is the best for a free online version.

How is GIMP not on your list?

I mean, I am no way a fan of GIMP at all, but it seems a no brainer to have in there.

I've tried Pixlr before and I agree, I prefer that over GIMP. However, GIMP is a software and doesn't rely on your browser or an internet connection... From my experience, I'm sure you need to be online for PIXLR.

I also vote for Photoshop but will try some tools in this thread.

How GIMP can compare with Photoshop? I wanted to try this software because I read more people talked about it.

I used to use Pixlr online photo editing software, I feel it is the best, very fast and easy to use.
Do you have any graphic software on your PC? I see its more effective than using online tools.
I never used a online tool to edit image but I will try this to see if it can work for me or not.

Some regard it just as good as Photoshop, and it is most likely what linux users would use. But if i'm being honest, I don't see those claims at all. Not sure if I'm just speaking as a Photoshop user, but I find nothing in GIMP intuitive or as feature rich and powerful as Photoshop. But there's a big community out there who begs to differ.

Maybe it's just me, and I'm too lazy to learn it properly. It's free and widely well received/supported if that's enough for you to consider it.

My two favorites on the list is Canva and Pixlr. :) When working on minor editing on photos, Pixlr is the way to go!

Thanks for making this list. :)

Befunky is good for editing photos, beside it, its works like picasa, befunky is good for me for its nice effects and other feature, though some feature are not free but as an online tool its works nice. But in professional way photoshop is the best for its unique feature, and all over the world professionals use this software.
