Finally tired of YUM breaking huh? lol

Debian is not too different only advice i can give is to sit down learn the different file system structure and your knowledge set should just fit into place. Its really not all that much different.

You are right, I want to learn somethings new

For Debian I want to learn from basic to advance techniques which will help me to control my VPS completely and can host websites on it.

Should I buy an online course, ebook or learn via Google by searching specific topics related to Debian?

How much Linux knowledge do you have? Are you comfortable navigating through CentOS? If you are id say just use Debian, as you come across things google the answer and train yourself to remember the things you investigate.

Hey David,
I would suggest you learn via Google, I often use this method to gain my knowledge about web hosting.
In other words, you can learn from hosting providers on hosting forums, it was the reason why I was here.

Good choice I much prefer Debian over CentOS, only reason I use CentOS is for cPanel VPS as cPanel only support CentOS and CloudLinux.

Each distribution has it's own differences but at it's core Linux is Linux. If you good with CentOS learning Debian is a simple process.

1. Buy a Debian book and read it cover to cover multiple times.
2. Plenty of articles online about anything you could want to know
3. Set up a Debian VPS on your PC and fiddle with it, learning by doing has always been my favorite way of picking up new things.

Don't buy online courses, very overpriced. You can learn everything for FREE just by doing a little Google'ing.
