I am using a shared hosting plan for my blogs but I don't know where it came from? How does shared hosting work? Does it have 1 IP address for every package hosted?

Anyone explains me?

Hello Little Alien !
So a "shared" hosting plan is like his name suggest, a web hosting on a server where all resources are shared by several websites. Each user have a limited size of disk and no dedicated RAM or CPU.
So you could have another plan with the same IP if it's stored on the same server than the previous one.

Yes, with a reseller you will have several shared hosting plan than you can resell, and with a VPS your will have an amount of resources (CPU,RAM,SSD) and will be free to resell them as hosting package using a control panel like cPanel or Plesk.
You will be able to sell reseller plan with a VPS. But in the two cases, you will be limited by the resources.

Hi Little Alien

Shared hosting is a term used for a server that provides hosting to many different sites on that server.
The sites on shared hosting normally share the same IP, but it is possible to have your own IP
