There are a lot of things to consider.

Of course you want to check out their plans and pricing to make sure it fits your needs.
I recommend trying out their support. Talk to sale and see how friendly they are. Maybe even order the cheapest hosting plan and open some support tickets to test them.
Also look for reviews, although this can be difficult! There are a TON of fake review sites out there that are promoting affiliate links. WebHostingGeeks.com is a good place to look for true customer reviews.

Best of luck to you!

of course fist you need to see if they have what you need for the price that you need it for then you go on to looking at their reviews and support team.
Reviews are very important as you mentioned, always have a look at reviews. Secondly try their support team out, see their response time, see their knowledge.

I would also learn about their platform (hardware/setup).

A great question @Maxoq. You could never find the right web host without knowing what you need. So before you go any further, put everything aside and think thoroughly on your own hosting needs first.

If I were you then I would look into the following features before making any single deal.

# Ask myself, what are my hosting needs.
# Search and Investigate on host reliability and uptime guarantees.
# Look into their web host upgrading options available.
# Look into all hosting features (i.e how many numbers of add-on domains allowed) based on your needs of course.
# Look into the prices on both sign up and renewal.
# Find which hosting control panel they offer.
# Look into their ToS to find out more about account suspension and server usage policy etc.
# Additional supporting features (i.e. Site backup, environmental friendliness, etc)
# Whether they provide 24/7 Support or not.
# Reviews are important, but I found most them fake cause of the advertisements and getting clients in.
# Are they available over the social networks, cause it is taking charge now to get the updates easily.

Still, there are lots of factors, but these are the main you should consider before buying, I reckon.

But supporting for selling products are different from supporting for clients need to get technical support.

You mean I should buy a package from them to check

I can not check uptime of a web hosting unless I can try their service for 1 month. It has a better way to do this.

# Find which hosting control panel they offer.
What are your recommendations fro hosting control panels should be good in a web hosting provider?

# Are they available over the social networks, cause it is taking charge now to get the updates easily.
I have get any updates or support via social network. are any web hostings providing this solution?

obviously fist you have to see should they have the thing you need for that cost that you'll require it for then you definitely will continue to searching in their reviews and support team.

Reviews are important while you pointed out, always take a look at reviews. Next try their support team out, see their response time, see their understanding.

I'd also find out about their platform (hardware/setup).

I think that if the company has a long business record, this means it is trustworthy. Reviews published online might or might not help. The best would be to give the provider you want to sign up a call or to send them an email to ask question and and to see how responsive is its support. If one has any specific question, it is good idea to ask.

Agreed.

I would check their support first and start with a minimum package to test which you can use on their hosting provider.

Prefer using web hosting companies that having live chat for supporting web hosting problems.

Just my 0.02 cents!

You need to analyze the reputation of the hosting provider and all of the positive reviews about them available online or in the own website.
