Small suggestions

Hello forumweb.hosting !

I have two small suggestions for the forum. It's what i have seen when i have started to browse here.

1) Adding a link to the lounge in the navbar. I have find the lounge "by error" by clicking in a post on the sidebar. It will be easier to access it from the navbar.

2) Activate vBulletin friendly URLs to replace id by the title of the thread. It will really improve the forum SEO.

Let me know what do you think about it !

I agree with you and this is great suggestions!

Point #1, I will add the lounge on the navbar soon

Point #2, for sure...we will have friendly URLs in next week...working on it

Honestly I tried vBseo and DBseo, great vB addons to make pretty friendly URLs for forumweb.hosting but I saw some problems from them after tested.

One is out of date (vbseo) and one is having some small issues (dbseo) hence I will use original friendly URL Mod from vBulletin with some changes to make it better and suitable for this forum.

By your suggestion, I rethink and it is necessary for our forum

I haven't use vBulletin because i prefer Xenforo, but in vB docs they don't talk about any mod to have SEO friendly URLs on 4.2.2 here

Only to use rewrite rules with apache using .htaccess. PM me if you need help.

Mod vB friendly URLs are activated on the forum so the links are friendly now.

What exact place on the navbar where you want to add the lounge?

Between forum and blogs seems to be a good place.

Where is the error when you clicked in a post in sidebar?

There is no error, i mean it was an accident.

Mod vB friendly URLs are activated on the forum so the links are friendly now.

Really good ! Remind you have to rebuild the sitemap and send it to search engine as forum URLs have changed.
