I am still working on the banner. Besides that, what else I can improve?

Website logo is a part should be changed...I would suggest you change color of your website navigation to black color, it will be suitable to red color color so that website is more professional.
Overall looks good and simple and clean design.

I think it looks real nice. Clean and crisp. Seemed to load fast for me.

Couple suggestions..

Your social float bar is justified to the left of the monitor screen. On a wide screen it's way over. I have the same problem on one of my sites and I think it's hurting share clicks. Personally I wouldn't show count numbers until you have some good numbers to display. Showing a few clicks might not be best right now. Little thing, but a thought.

Could add more social buttons. I get clicks for stumbleupon, Reddit and Linkedin. You might be missing out.

Also, the content doesn't seem to jive with the site name, unless I am missing something.

Just my two cents.

I would change the color scheme to something less "Salesy." People need to understand that the internet business models should reflect a research first methodology, sales second, unless your sales are coming from places other than mainly internet sources.

Blues and off-greens do well because they promote trust.

I would also recommend keeping a consistent call to action throughout the entire page. For instance, a minor change you can make is giving the navigation bar a fixed position so it stays with the user everywhere - that is really popular now.

This is generally good advice but I'm conflicted about using social sharing buttons. Although they are good promotional tools, and automated, I think they take away some branding of the site. You know, a "Tier 1" website, if you will, is Google, Facebook, YouTube, etc. They have their own branding and don't need anybody's help for backlinks. They are the standard.

Tier 2 websites would be sites like this with large community engagement. They got big using the system properly.

And Tier 3 or less are a smaller brand altogether again. When you add social buttons you are automatically classifying yourself as a "Tier 2 or less" I hope that makes sense. Of course, this is just fine for most people. But I believe if you really want to be "big" that you should market yourself quietly outside of the web in-front of real people and cold calls. What do you think? Then your brand becomes positioned for "Tier 1" standards.

Maybe this isn't the place to post a message like this. But food for thought nonetheless.

Your website looks Good for me. I suggest you to add a professional logo to your blog. Make your site navigation easy for that you can use taxonomies. I also like to add one more thing. if possible move to premium theme from Mythemeshop as you are using free themes from mythemeshop.

Your website is simple and for me its working. I guess your logo needs a lot of improvement. Remember one thing that people usually remember is the name and the logo itself since its the one the will uplift your website. It is what the people will remember so make sure that it will be remarkable. For the content I don't have any problem with it, layout design its working for me but if you can look for a better design at theme forest that will match your blogsite then much better. Feel free to consult us once you made any changes.

You definitely make good points. I suppose I was saying that Google doesn't have a share button to Facebook. And Facebook doesn't hav a pin it button. Instead they have their own ecosystem. And that's what the big boys are doing.

We should really open up a discussion about what separates the small businesses from the big ones. It would really be a hit here and there are already plenty of great minds here to dissect it.

In the meantime, to the OP, consider most your value building elements, then SEO structure, visual structure, and social.
