I have a blog where I review books, and I was thinking I could make some profit out of it, but then again I am not sure if people are using amazon or another site to buy books. Is there something else besides amazon that is huge on selling books? I know only that amazon has their kindle (electronic book) that is super popular and that is only for books, so amazon should work with the book reviews right?

Absolutely you can! You can review all kinds of products and insert links into your reviews. Just make sure you follow all of the rules of the Amazon affiliate program.

But you definitely can review books and provide buttons / links to Amazon for people to buy the full book in either Kindle or physical editions.

Also, cool thing about Amazon affiliate links: If a visitor clicks on your affiliate link, if he buys ANYTHING on Amazon.com within a certain time period, you get a commission.

Oh I did not know that, which is indeed awesome! Then I suppose that the Amazon affiliate program is the best way to go at this point of time?
I heard ClickBank is good but I never tried it nor do I know how to work with it.

Clickbank is a different animal. All digital type products, in many different markets. Though higher commissions. But conversions might not be as good. Course you promote one product at a time, not like Amazon where you get a cut of an entire order, like mentioned by Michael.

That's one reason the Amazon affiliate program is so popular. I mean, you can promote a 99 cent ebook and then get credit if someone buys a laptop.

The percentage you get from each sale isn't much, that it can add up fast.

Just, as I said before, make sure you read and follow all of their rules. They're pretty strict, but it's a good program.

As far as I have seen they are not even close as strict as google when it comes to rules, and I never heard about anyone getting randomly banned on Amazon xD
I added the buttons to my articles, now I can just promote and see how it goes
