Instangram good for promoting your site?

My plan so far for using instagram as a way of promoting my site is to connect the link of my fan page to the quotes I will post on instagram.
So far I am just at the start and can't tell if it's working or not, so I would love to hear from people who already used instagram for promotion how they did it and how much time I should invest in doing this thing. My blog is a writing blog and I come up with the quotes myself, other than that I have around 3k followers on my instagram but only 226 people on my fan page.

Instagram is good for promoting sites but effected of that promotion will not get quickly like facebook, twitter, etc. TO do proper promotion you must concentrate on your images which must be eye catchy, creative and innovative. And the main and most important part is to create hashtags. Hashtags plays a vital role for Instagram promotion. Try to add more hashtags and also add most popular hashtags sothat your promotion will go to the maximum number of users. Mentions other instagram profiles also helps the most. Try to mention those profile which are related to your promotion, services or products.

I have not tried Instagram yet, because it's just available for mobile, which I don't really like. It doesn't have web-based like Facebook or Twitter. If you run businesses that related to mobile or for mobile, I think it's good to try.

Based on my experience Instagram is good for me because on this channel is really easy to build consumer perception. I'm trying to keep my posts in the same style to get people used to know that particular elements look always the same (like logo or text style).

Insta will work when you have more than few K followers. But you have to get them. You have to post good content and use popular tags

I guess IG is effective if you are selling a product online, but for website promotion I guess it won't work since you cannot insert a link. IG is for personal use, not for website promotion might suggest that you use pinterest it is more effective.

I am not promoting my site and link in Instagram because there all people are watching the images and videos. They are following and like your images and videos.

The Instagram is famous for images and videos, and your blog is a writing blog that way is not more effective for Instagram promotion.

The Instagram effective promotion for products like clothes, bag, etc. then you promote your link to connect your site or page and the people see there lots of products

If you want quickly promote your site or like If you do promoting facebook, twitter etc.

Visual content is obviously best suited for Instagram. It's particularly useful for building your brand and building trust. You could also use it as a lead generation tool by providing something free in your bio link in exchange for an e-mail.

Totally depends on the niche you are going after my friend. I know it works well for food and health niches as many of the instagram members are selling shoutout for like $5k for getting access to their followers. You should give it a try and let us know your results.

Instagram is a very nice and enjoyable platform if only you have much followers to comment and like your pictures which is the most important thing on Instagram which is quality post,

Just like someone said above you have to drop catchy pictures to get your users interested to your page or account,

Then all you have to do is make your profile attractive then remember to drop your link on your profile

Instagram is average in site promotion in my opinion, probably because of the limited number of participants on the social marketing media, if directly affects the outcome of one's strategies in getting more traffic to ones sites.

Personally, I think Facebook would be best for you to promote your site, it has limitless number of participants. And as the day goes, so does the number of people opening new Facebook accounts double. So if you are looking for a good resource ground to market and promote your website or blog, I think Facebook would be more productive for you.

Well Instagram is good for promoting sites. In a view of that there are people who are more likely to use Instagram among all the social media platforms, but there are almost half of the population of Facebook users. Perhaps, it can be also a way or it can be a secondary application where you can able to utilize your sites.

But I think Facebook is better than Instagram because when you promote sites on Facebook, there is a higher chances that many people will have a glimpse or will see your site. And you can use some strategies on Facebook to endorse your sites, blogs or your websites.

Instagram has grown into a massive social media platform, with great promotion potential. Instagram is an excellent promotional tool, especially if you come up with creative ways to showcase your website's message via witty images with quotes and simply beautiful photos. I think Instagram can outgrow Facebook, but even if it doesn't, it should never be neglected in your marketing strategy.

I think Instagram is a good place to promote your business. A lot of people are already using IG for the promotion of their business. You can start there and try. Facebook is a good place too. Just choose the site that is more comfortable for you and where you have the most followers. So it would be easier for you to promote. Good luck.

Instagram is great for a couple of reasons. It's low effort with alright results. The big thing that you benefit from is if other people are writers they will like your quote and typically go onto you main page and then to you site direct. A lot of writers use instagram so their isn't any reason why you wouldn't benefit from it. I think you should check out some of gary vee's videos and see how you can grow you business just by spending 30 minutues a day when you wake up.

In my opinion, Instagram is not that good in promoting websites. Based from the numbers you presented, I can tell that it is not going well. There are a lot of platforms there that are more suited when promoting your websites. Instagram on the other hand does well in promoting products or online shops.
