I tried a lot of different ads publishers but so far no luck. Is adsnese the only one that could get your revenue skyrocketing?
For now I was banned on adsense, not sure why, as you know they don't give out the reason of your ban out, so I am looking for different ads providers that could provide me with a good income. Do you have any suggestions?

No, they're definitely not the only provider.

I'm assuming you're running ads on a blog? Can you tell us more about your site?

Are you building an email list? If not, why not?

If your site gets a decent amount of traffic, you can sell ad space. Obviously, more traffic means you can charge more for an ad.

BUT, I suggest you read through the AdSense terms of service and figure out which of the rules you might have broken. If you do move to another ad network, make sure you read all of their rules and tread lightly.

I did run chitika ands with no success for a while, and my blog is about book reviews, manga reviews, my own poetry and stories.
I do not know how to build an email list, hence I am not building one.
My site gets a small amount of traffic ( I do not expect huge earnings), but it's slowly rising so I am sure by the end of the year I should be able to get at least 1k per day (unique visitors).

And by selling ad space do you mean selling it without a publisher?

If look at the right side of this site: --------->

There are ads running. Individuals agreed to pay a certain amount to have their ads shown.

There are websites you can use to buy or sell ad space. BuySellAds is one, for example.

Alternatively, you can promote Clickbank products or other affiliate products with banner ads. Just try to keep a good balance between ads and content. If you have too many ads on a page, the page can load slowly for users, and it can make the site look spammy. Use your best judgment there.

You can also sell ad space through this forum. There is a place in the "Marketplace" section to do that. :)

You will want to have a good idea of how many visitors you have per month.

Adsense is definitely not the only way to make good money from an ad network.

Have you tried media.net? They are the Bing/Yahoo contextual advertising network.

Media.net has been a very good one for me as an AdSense alternative.

They seem to be hit and miss for some people but that might be in part to their particular sites.

You might want to check them out.

I will try them out for sure, what where the stats for your site? Just so i know what my goal should be, traffic wise.

@newsdeals , I had applied for them but my site was just to small at that moment so I am reluctant to try them again.

@Computerselfemploy do you have proof of your earnings? That site seems a bit new to me and unknown so far :S

It depends on type of your traffic. If you have a lot of mobile traffic, I would suggest you try propellerads.com as it's a good program to monetize mobile traffic. It's also a good program to make money from your website with high traffic through PopUnder :)

If your site has book and manga reviews, you can go affiliate. just apply amazon associate program and use affiliated link to book you reviewed in your page.

There must be online store that sells the book or manga, they may have an affiliated program too

I am not a fan of adsense at all. You have NO control over the ads and they usually have very low CTR which wastes your traffic and you lose sales and income. Not to mention they pay pennies per click for many keywords. It's difficult to get traffic for the higher paying keywords because of all the competition. And yes they can ban your account for no reason and no recourse.

My account was closed several years ago and I've never missed it. Better ways to make more money.

I think most people use it because they are lazy. Copy and paste some code and done. But as that old saying goes, you get out what you put in. Don't want to put in the effort, good chance you won't get much of a return.

There are probably people that are still making good money with Adsense, but those are far and few between.

As for a alternative, no one can help you if we don't know what niche or market you in. What your in can dictate which programs might be the best to try.

The other big thing, big problem actually, is that few people test and track their ads. Our ads should always be in a test mode so we can get the highest click though rate, which can lead to the highest revenue. Traffic can be hard work, so it's in our best interest to squeeze every dollar out of it that we can. Only makes business sense. Another reason programs like adsense bite, as I said, you have NO control over the ads.

As always, just my opinions :)

There are many other ways to monetize your blog or website then Adsense. In my experience Adsense has been a waste of time. There are other sites offering services like Adsense. Do a google search, review each of them and see what will work best for you. Adsense probably banned you because you violated their TOS. So as in everything you do please make sure you fully understand the TOS and will not be in violation.

Other things that you could research for monetizing your blog/website is CPA/Affiliate Marketing. In doing this I have made way more money then I ever did from Adsense. A few of those sites off the top of my head are:
Clickbank
CPAGrip
CPALead
MaxBounty
CrakRevenue
JVZoo

I hope these recommendations will help you out. Good Luck to You

Adsense is probably the most effective way but it is certainly not the only way to make money online. There are plenty of other things like freelancing, affiliate marketing, forex trading etc.

I have to say definitely,"No". Affiliate marketing, internet marketing, and network marketing. Plus, they have advertising sites that you can advertise with. Many of those offer you ways you can make extra money. Even though Adsense is the most talked about advertising network there are many others as well. So if you can't use Adsense for whatever reason all hope is not lost.

Adsense is really a great program to make money but it is not the only way to make money online. You can monetize your site with different methods like affiliate program. I found affiliate marketing more effective than any other monetizing method.

The problem with Adsense is the quality of traffic you need to get to your website. If you don't deliver on quality then your account will get suspended and all the money earned will be returned to the advertiser. I would recommend looking for other means to generate an income online.

Have you tried popup ads or link shortening. These are easy ways to earn some money. The more advance methods include CPA marketing and Affiliate marketing. Look into these methods if you want to make a decent living from your website.

Let me start by saying that the only thing, and only way, to "skyrocket" your revenue, is MORE TARGETED TRAFFIC!

That is it!

Once you have a lot of high quality traffic coming every day - then you can monetize that revenue with targeted products and services.

When I first started blogging online - i started monetizing with Google Adsense and programs like it. I only made a few dollars and I also got my account banned because I bought traffic one time. Ever since that happened, I never used any adsense program to monetize my traffic - ever again!

I actually would not recommend to use programs like this to make money from the revenue of your blog or website online. Because they pay you peanuts!!

You can make a lot more money with affiliate marketing and network marketing!

Do you want to make big money online? .... then sell products and services for big commissions!!

As simple as that my friend!

But, everything starts with the QUALITY of your Traffic. The QUALITY of your Revenue.

If you dont have TARGETED Visitors coming to your website - you will have a hard time making money with anything.

This would be my advice on Monetizing a Website Online. ;)
