Did your website verify Google webmaster tool?

If yes then you can check crawl errors, duplicate titles/descriptions/, links to your website...etc..

It's a necessary tool that you need to add and optimize SEO for your site.

My site didn't verify GWT (now it calls Google Search Console as i know).
I am finding something like Deepcrawl (cloud service) or Screaming Frog SEO Spider (desktop).
Want to extend number of SEO tools i've tried.

GWT is a must if you want to optimize your site on Google, even other search engines.

Unless you don't want to get ranked higher on Google then you don't need to install it.

If you have the Google webmaster's tool installed, then you will automatically get the details about crawling status and errors if any.

Have you tried using Pingdom tools? it can tell you how fast your website loads and give you recommendations and ratings on what you can do to improve your results. Its a handy tool.

I think GWT or GSC is better. With this tools you will be updated with any errors in your website
