What are the best tips on how to start an online business easily from home?
What I need to keep in mind to succeed? Any thoughts?

In my opinion the easiest way to start your online business is email marketing, all you need is:

Squeeze page: You cab get one done in fiverr for $5
Lead Magnet: You can get a report done for you in fiverr as well for about $20
Domain name: you can get one in go gaddy for $1 (that's for the first year) just get yourself a coupon.
Autoresponder: there are many out there like aweber, getresponse, sendlane, etc.
Hosting: there are cheap options like hostgator for about $7/month.

As you can see, you can start your online business very cheaply and without problems, all you need is about $33 USD and that's for the first month, after that it can go down to just the cost of your hosting.
Now.. all this is having into consideration that you will not pay for traffic, and only spend time in order to get the traffic you need to start getting subscribers.

If you want to invest in traffic then to get started you would need $150 aprox., you can get cheap traffic in clickonomy.

First of all it depends on the type of online business... For example:

Sell physical products - then I would recommend that you put them onto Amazon, ebay etc... As these platforms are massive when it comes to visitors.

Services - i.e. graphics design, article writing etc. My recommendation here is to focus on ads e.g. Adwords as well as placing your services on sites like elance, freelancer etc... In addition with such a business model I would place ads in local newspapers as well as calling/visiting businesses directly in your neighbourhood.. When starting out you will want to develop a portfolio so you may want to consider doing some free work... Its amazing how your services can spread by word of mouth recommendations!

Digital products/software - I would consider putting that onto an affiliate platform such as clickbank, jvzoo etc... That's in addition to email marketing which is hugely important and highly recommended...

When starting out I would keep it simple... Buy domain, setup website... Adopt and implement strategy as briefly mentioned above... and keep to the plan... Above all make sure your website converts to sales... For me when I start out I always use ads and in parallel implement SEO for the long haul... Also keep at it every day with being patient and persistent.... In time you will achieve your goals ;-)

There are many ways to start an online business. Just like what Nesito and Sid recommended but I want to simply everything to 3 simple things.

1.) Get a Website - I highly suggest that you go for self hosted if you're planning to build your business long term.
2.) Drive Traffic - There are FREE and Paid ones that you can use to drive traffic to your website. Forum Marketing is one good example.
3.) Sell Something - This can either be your own service, affiliate marketing , or selling your own banner space.

Take your pick.

I trying sometime different without using website.
Some affiliate products already have it self hosted site with professional lead capture page.

Many ways are there through which you can start an online business and these methods are very easy and simple also. These methods are you can do Blogging, start writing on your favorite topics for websites. You can buy and sell products on eBay, you can also do freelancing writing.
