How many days for a new backlink to influence search rankings?

Guys,

Honestly, my boss bought a backlink from a quality website with purpose to increase rankings for our company website keywords but when some people asked me, how many days for this backlink to influence our keyword rankings?
I'm really getting confused, I have no ideas on it.

Could you guys answer for me?

Anywhere from a few days to 6-8 weeks.... to never.

It might be longer until Google notices the link and indexes it. Then it can be some time after that until the new data is incorporated into the algorithm.

Google also reserves the right to ignore links, so it might never impact rankings.

Be Patient

its deepend on SE. Google do crawl as fast as possible but if the backlinks have high PR it'll impact good to the site. So just be patient :victory:
