I am thinking of reselling ebooks and promote on some web marketplaces or forums and offer a paid with extra features.
I have some questions which coming in my mind are:
1/ will it work?
2/ how to build a list of buyers for my ebooks for next offers?
I am just a beginner in reselling items and need your advice on my campaign

What I would do is giveaway an eBook for Free then sell the video version inside the download folder. The reason the customer downloaded it for Free is because they wanted to know more. After they sign up to give their free product, make sure and follow up with messages about your video course.

Also don't come out of the gates with you have to buy the video series. Give some more useful info about the product and mention the video series.

What edson buchanan said is so spot on. I've even heard of some people offering the first couple of chapters of a book for free. If the book is going to be a series with links to the other books for pay is good as well. When you do tell people about the video version it could also help to let them know of bonus materials they get when purchasing the videos they won't get with the book.
