The most important thing is that you have a great idea to invest all of that money into. I know everyone focuses advertising, SEO, etc for spending to make more money. Those are very important things but here are a few fundamentals not to overlook before you jump into getting traffic.

- Create quality content that makes you stand out as an authority. Write it yourself if you are capable or pay for a talented writer.

- Don't skimp on your website's design and functionality. You want your website to stand out and look awesome. So buy a premium theme or pay for a web designer/developer if that's what it takes.

- Make sure your site is hosted on a reliable web hosting plan that allows for fast loading speeds and very minimal downtime.

Just some of my thoughts for now. I'm sure others will be able to help you with the advertising and SEO end of things.

uhmm..I could analyze your steps and how it will work as following.

- Create quality content that makes you stand out as an authority. Write it yourself if you are capable or pay for a talented writer.
you are right, creating an authority website make us stand seperate from other websites. But I don't have time to write so I will go for hiring a talented writer. it will charge me $300 for articles on my site. $5/an article and 60 aritlces for a new site maybe a good start-up.

- Don't skimp on your website's design and functionality. You want your website to stand out and look awesome. So buy a premium theme or pay for a web designer/developer if that's what it takes.
Of course, i can buy a them from themeforest or templatemonster, maximum for the template around &75 /a theme.

- Make sure your site is hosted on a reliable web hosting plan that allows for fast loading speeds and very minimal downtime.
I will pay 1 year for a web hosting, I think start with $10/month is enough for a new site.

12 months x $10 , I pay $120. Ok that's good.

Total I spent $505 (300+75+120 + extra $10 for a domain/year)

$505 spent but still have not seen revenue/profits yet :D

Those are very important things but here are a few fundamentals not to overlook before you jump into getting traffic.
You are wanting to how to get traffic than getting money after months I invested.

what are the next steps to start earning money with it?
or which methods to generate money fast? that's matter.

Anyone else?

Hi DiamondIM,

There are loads of things you could be doing with that 5K.. Here is what I would do....

I would choose a subject/niche which I am passionate/interested about... and of course have some depth of knowledge...

From there I would examine the different types of information products there are within that such as on Clickbank... In addition I would use G keyword planner tool and search online paying attention to ads in order to ascertain that there is a commercial market for your product idea....

Once those checks are made - I would then make every effort to develop the best product... It would be an ebook, video and audio product plus accompanying bonuses... I would spend about ~2.5K on developing that with paying for content development...

Next I would spend about ~1.5K on developing an awesome website with sales videos, graphics etc.. Also with supporting affiliate resource section...

Next place the product on an affiliate platform....

Finally I would then spend the remaining 1K on ads for promoting the product... with putting back some of the profits back into ads ...

Hope that helps! Let us know how you get on with spending that 5K!

Best of Luck,

Sid

If you have money to safely invest, I would look into buying/flipping websites that already have a source of income. Most websites sell for 4-6 months of current revenue. What you can do is buy and sell again quickly (quick flip) or you can invest more money or time into increasing revenue on them then sell at a later time.

If you are not into websites or domains, then start your own service-based business. Learn how to properly advertise and grab fresh leads with a good marketing budget and outsource as much as you can or at least automate a lot of it.

If you are not a fan of starting your own business, then by all means, invest 5k into other start ups

If you already have a website, I would invest the $5K to promote the website. Hire an SEO expert, pay for ads, do social media marketing..
If you don't already have a website, think about your interest lies and create a website with some of that money. Affiliate marketing is a good way to earn money. Use the rest of the money for SEO and website promotion.

Whatever is the method of building your online business, please remember to always BUILD A LIST. When you exhaust your 5K budget and wonder where to find extra funds, your list will be your ATM machine.

Trust me, always build a list as you build a business, it will help you in the long run.

I would split my money... hire a couple of freelance telemarketeers, use adwords, use it building your affiliate network and spend a little every day on ads on social media. We have a huge marketplace website, which we can buy some ads... for 25 dollar in three months.. and the last year it it converted into 2 sales... every sale was 900 dollars :)

If I have 5k with me then I'll definitely buy some good Solo ads to grow my list because this is the lifeblood of Internet marketing.

I would spend half of that money in marketing or you can say re-marketing my products and services :) May be direct advertising like Paper, TV commercials, etc. I will divide rest of the money in two parts. One part I will keep for my lifestyle or basic needs and other part will invest in online marketing let's say Facebook or Adwords marketing if that first traditional attempt was unsuccessful!

If you have 5k to invest look at the marketers that offer a mentoring program. You should be able to find a few like John Thornhill's Partnership To Success. That's about 5k but he runs specials every so often at a much lower price.

Your chance of succeeding, and more importantly the time it will take you, are multiplied by having a mentor that will call you to account.

Without a mentor you will spend a lot of time and money making needless mistakes. If you can afford it, it will slash the learning curve because you will only have to learn a fraction of what you probably think you have to learn.

If you know what you are doing then a budget of $500 is plenty to get an online business up and running. If you don't you can easily blow $500 on PPC in a day(done it).

If you prefer trial and error there are all sorts of ways to spend your cash. You could get a WP plug in developed for that or an ebook or course written for you.

Invest it in mentoring and you have a far better chance of success.

First of all make a plan and ...stick to that plan. But how do you know if your plan is good? Speak with many specialist, advisers or persons you trust about this before making the plan 'solid'. Go straight for your target and be patient. invest in something new, refreshing and interesting for yourself.

I will invest in an experienced Internet Marketing coach to teach me the ropes of the business. A good IM coach will enable you to earn back the $5000 easily and reaping his experiences at the same time.

I'd probably invest it in a new service-brokering website. $5000 would be more than enough for me to get a nicely designed and coded website.

It would also cover the costs of a ton of SEO articles and an oursourced staff.

I'd head over to Flippa and buy myself an established site getting good traffic and already making money, then your task is to get more traffic to increase your income with none of the development risks/ headaches.
