Do you think that an impressive good looking web design will produces less sales than a simple looking website or vice versa?
My clients said me he are getting more sales on an simple web design than complex web design with more elements on it.
I'm going to re-update my website template and keep it simple and clear as possible. I think it will make my customers or visitors navigate my website easily and easy to find products that they need.

Have you similar experiences on that?

You need to keep your site as simple as it is so
that loading will be faster... and moreover you
need to concentrate on copywriting skills more
than anything else to help you get more sales..

I like the fancier looking websites and my conversion rates are higher, + quality content. As far as loading speed, my sites all load in under 2 seconds and some are as fast as 700 ms.

Most pass Google page speed and the ones that don't I don't plan to keep around long (affiliate sites that I rank, bank, and get rid of) and even then, load speeds are still under 2 seconds.

I have a couple of sites I used really large images on because they are portfolios that we send our clients to. Those load in between 2-3 seconds. But are prospects are so impressed when they see the portfolios they always get a site design.

So I will go with the look all day! :D
