SEO is good for your website but only when you do white hat SEO. Black Hat SEO can provide you with instant results but they can be harmful for your website later on. Don't just go for services that claim to bring your website on the 1st page of SERP in the short term but rather check the credentials of the service provider.

Some SEO companies are good and some are fake. Fake companies can do your SEO and ranking your keywords in short period of a time with using black hats techniques but its not safe and Google many be penalize your website. Try to find genuine company with reputation in the market.

All of the people talking bad about black hat just have no idea how to use it.

You can't just buy a service blindly and not know what to do with it. Outsourcing SEO is for the pros and not for noobs. Noobs should stick to the white hat seo, learn how links build NATURALLY, and then replicate that process cleverly.

But never buy any such service like backlinks, SEO booster, etc.
They will create backlinks, no doubt
But these will be of low quality.
