Very useful for SEO, especially in increasing traffic and backlinks for your website, try to see a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpiCWXt91ko this I made it very fast and uploaded to Youtube. As all of us knew Google bought YT so every video that you upload to YT then it will be indexed quickly by GG robot..an important factor in SEO.

I agree with yestyle, you said right, posting videos on youtube are very helpful for SEO and increase traffic for your website. Otherwise, you also can earn money from your videos if they are quality and having a huge amounts of views on each video.

1. Upload your video to youtube with a filename that reflects your keywords.

2. Title tags - use a keyword twice in the title AND get found more often

3. Description - since most people don't read this -- put in line #1 (which is visible by the user without opening/viewing the entire descripyion) (i)your website (ii) phone #

4. Description - use the keywords throughout the copy - using them in the tags isn't enough. hint - think of the word 'repurpose'... if you want to learn more... email me.

5. 'how to' phrase is one of the most highly searched on google!
