Would Domain Summit Asia 2026 be useful for web hosts?

Domain Summit Asia 2026 is scheduled for Bangkok in December.

The event seems relevant to registrars, registries, hosting companies, domain resellers, new TLDs, AI and Asian market opportunities.

For hosts and webmasters, would this be useful for partnerships and market insight, or is it more of a pure domain investor event?

Never been to this one, so read it as a comment on the format rather than the event. Domain conferences skew registrar, registry and investor. The agenda gets written for people who buy and sell names, and the hosting track, when there is one, is usually thin.

Where hosts get something out of it is off the agenda. Sitting down with registrars for wholesale pricing or a reseller deal, meeting ccTLD people for a market you want to sell into. If you already have a registrar you are happy with and you are not planning to sell domains as a product line, there is not much left in it.

Bangkok in December at least makes the travel maths easier than flying to a European or US show for the same conversations.
