DirectAdmin and Plesk are user-friendly, offer great support and are reasonably priced. If you are considering a free web hosting panel, then have a look at SPanel. It is a decent control panel.

Yes, there are alternative control panels to manage hosting accounts on a CentOS server. Some popular ones include:
  1. DirectAdmin: A user-friendly, web-based control panel that is known for its ease of use and performance.
  2. Webmin: An open-source control panel that offers a wide range of features for managing servers, including a graphical user interface for managing users, disk space, and bandwidth.
  3. Plesk: A commercial control panel that provides a user-friendly interface for managing websites, email accounts, databases, and security.
  4. Virtualmin: A free, open-source control panel that provides a comprehensive set of tools for managing virtual servers, domains, and users.
Each of these control panels has its own strengths and weaknesses, so it's best to do your research and choose the one that best fits your needs. Consider factors such as ease of use, cost, and the features that are important to you when making your decision.

ISPConfig: A feature-rich panel that supports multiple servers and can manage multiple clients and websites. It includes support for email, FTP, DNS, and database management, as well as SSL certificate integration and web-based file management.

Webmin: A modular panel that can manage various services, such as Apache, MySQL, and DNS. It includes a graphical user interface and supports multiple languages. It also includes a file manager and an SSH client.

CyberPanel: A panel specifically designed for hosting WordPress sites. It includes a one-click installer for WordPress and supports LiteSpeed web server, which can significantly improve website speed. It also includes email and DNS management, SSL integration, and a file manager.

HestiaCP: A fast and lightweight panel that supports multiple domains and email accounts. It includes a file manager, SSL certificate integration, and backup and restore functionality. It also includes an app installer for popular web applications such as WordPress and Joomla.

Centos Web Panel: A powerful panel that supports multiple servers and includes support for Apache, Nginx, and PHP. It includes email, DNS, and FTP management, as well as SSL certificate integration and a file manager.

Ajenti: A modular panel that can manage various services, such as Apache, Nginx, and MySQL. It includes a clean and customizable interface and supports multiple languages. It also includes a file manager and an SSH client.

Hey there, a shared cPanel license is a type of license that allows a web hosting provider to offer cPanel access to multiple customers on a shared server. With a shared cPanel license, the hosting provider pays for a single cPanel license and then divides the cost among its customers. This can be a cost-effective solution for hosting providers, as it allows them to offer cPanel access to their customers without having to purchase separate licenses for each customer.

However, it is important to note that there are some limitations to shared cPanel licenses. For example, because multiple customers are sharing a single license, there may be restrictions on the number of cPanel accounts or domains that each customer can create. Additionally, some features may be disabled or limited in shared cPanel environments to prevent one customer from impacting the performance or security of the server for others.

If you are considering using a shared cPanel license, it is important to check with your hosting provider to understand the specific limitations and features of their shared cPanel environment. This can help you make an informed decision about whether a shared cPanel license is the right solution for your hosting needs.

cPanel licenses have different pricing tiers based on the number of accounts that can be created. For example, cPanel Premier (100 Accounts) license allows for 100+ accounts to be created. However, it’s possible that your friend is using a shared cPanel license from a third-party provider that offers unlimited accounts. It’s important to note that using such licenses may not be officially supported by cPanel and could potentially violate their terms of service.
