Seems like a great deal, but I can't see the renewal price after the first year anywhere.

It's also the kind of RyanAir model where you select something for free, but then they add things on and try to upsell you more. Privacy protection is pretty standard as a free thing but it's £5.99 with this offer and then they offer you a monthly paid website builder and hosting.

Still a good deal, just watch the renewal at the end of the first year.

Yeah and really I think you are probably spot on there! It will more than likely be a high renewal rate in guessing. Not extortionate I don't think, however probably higher than your average renewal rate.

I personally got my some .uks from them for free myself however I'm not up for renewal so can't comment.

I think it is just a marketing method to attract visitors, I don't like some services like domains for free because you can easily lose your domains if it is provided from an untrusted provider.

@Harry P I agree, you should be careful, that's not the case here though, this is a huge company that has been around for ages, they aren't going to suddenly disappear or anything.

I know for the .uk OR .us or any country restricted domains etc you do need an address in that country to be able to register such a domain.

This should obviously be YOUR address and linked to you, I have for example with the .co.UK domains had letters through the post reminding me of expiry etc ..

I'm sure foreigners should be able to register a UK postal address online and I don't believe that would be breaking the rules?

I guess it depends how bad you want the .UK or .co.UK extension huh LOL

Either way to those that are in the UK nevertheless..
